Establishing an effective brand strategy and marketing strategy is crucial in differentiating your brand from your competitors. Under the Enterprise Development Grant, strategic Brand and Marketing Development projects help businesses explore a new branding strategy and enable more effective reach to their customers. This would also be beneficial for the business if it wishes to expand to overseas markets.

What Would A Branding And Marketing Project Look Like?

The project scope could include: 

​1. Evaluating the strengths and fill in the gaps of current branding strategies.
2. Conducting market research, engage in internal and external branding to differentiate the brand from its competitors and capture target audiences. 
3. Improving current marketing efforts and marketing resources by obtaining a better understanding of target audiences and market trends.
4. Developing a novel and effective marketing plan through a multi-prong approach.

 

What Kind of Items And or/ Activities Are Not Supported By The EDG Grant?

1. Creation of marketing collaterals or purchasing of project deliverables. 
2. Project costs such as implementing a marketing campaign,  including social media management, ad purchases, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) etc.

What Is The Funding Support Level? 

Enterprise Singapore is providing a maximum support level of 80% for costs for SMEs  and 60% of qualified costs for Non-SMES from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2022.

• You will need to submit a solid business plan that showcases sound financial management.

• It is preferred if you have a good plan for human capital development.

• A plan for your company's sustainable growth is ideal.

• A credible service provider &/or certified management consultant is required (with Enterprise Singapore-recognised Certification)

• Be prepared to submit documents such as your financial statements from the previous year.

• Application is to be done on the Business Grants Portal.
